If your oil burner doesn t work at all check to see if it is receiving electrical power if the thermostat is broken or turned off or if a flame sensor in the burner or heat sensor in the stack has signaled the unit to shut off.

If no voltage is recorded you will have to replace the board or the relay. This is another common reason behind faulty blower fans. You might need a new motor module on ecm motors. If the blower motor hums check the blower fan to ensure that it spins freely.

If set too low you may be cold but your furnace thinks. If the blower motor is burned out replace it. Inspect the fan while your furnace is powered on take a look at how your fan is running to see if you can pinpoint. If the blower fan on your furnace does not start then the furnace burners should burn for a short while until the furnace s limit cuts the burners off to keep the furnace from over heating.
